simulation adaptation's new single 'Something's Off' is an embodiment of discomfort and unsettlement. The song is knowing something is wrong, but not being able to figure out what it exactly is. This could be interpreted as their adolescent view on current world events, knowing things are not as they should be, but also not quite knowing where to look for the problem. The same goes for their internal thoughts and feelings. Knowing something is wrong within yourself but knowing what it is could be frustrating and resulted in the creation of 'Something's Off'.
